Another Win! This was my first time playing this course. I'm still trying to figure out the difference of day 2, but I'm happy with the win! Day 2 was pretty special - a perfect round. Six birdies and no bogeys!

Another Win! I haven't played this course for several years. I think I was in the 11-year old age group the last time I played here. It took me a couple rounds, but I was really pleased with my play today and I was glad to finish with the only under-par score for the tournament for the girls.
This qualifies me for the Optimist International Junior Golf Tournament at Trump National Doral in Miami, FL in July 2024.

I thought this course was really difficult and I have been physically challenged, having been golfing tournaments almost every day for a several weeks now.
This qualifies me for the IMG Junior World Championship at Torrey Pines in San Diego, CA July 9-11.

Great event and great outcome! (2 wins in a row!!)
Day 1; I finished 1-under with 3 birdies and 2 bogeys and I was sitting in 2nd place overnights. Day 2; I battled it out and scored 6 birdies and 2 bogeys to finish the day at 4-under par; for a total of 5-under par (139) and finished in first place.
This qualifies me for my first big national event, the National PGA Junior Championship being held in Bethesda, Maryland July 30 - Aug. 2.
This event was originally held in May, but was rained out (and "hailed" out) with some really bad weather. It was rescheduled for June 8 as a 36-hole event in one day.
I had a really strong first round, finishing at 5-under, consisting of 6 birdies and one bogey. The second round was still good, finishing at even par with just a birdie on 9 and a bogey on 10.
This was my first individual outright win in the UJGA tournament field. I was the only girl to finish below par.
Immediately after this event, I rushed off to the Deseret News High School Sports Awards 2024 Banquet, to be honored as one of 4 outstanding girls' golf high school athletes in the State of Utah.
For 2023-24 Academic Year, I was able to repeat as individual gold medal champion at the Utah 4A Golf Championship as a sophomore. State was held at Talon's Cove Golf Course and we had some really odd weather for May (hail, rain, cold & wind). UHSAA rearranged 4A for this year and there were 13 schools added to the 4A classification, bringing new and deeper competition for State this year.
I had my personal best performance in a tournament by shooting -7 on the first day [6 birdies, 1 eagle, and 1 bogey] and I held a 9 shot lead going into day 2. Day 2 was much harder for me and weather was a factor and I was +5 at the end, but still captured the individual gold medal with an 11 stroke lead. (65-77; 142)
For 2022-23 Academic Year, I won individual gold medal at Utah 4A Golf Championship as a freshman. It was a really interesting season with crazy weather for our first several tournaments. Individually I won a majority of the local weekly high school events in southern Utah; and followed with individual championship honors at Region and State. State was at Logan River Golf Course, which is a really technical course and doesn't play to my strengths (I only used the driver on 2 holes). Somehow my +9 won the tournament and I was 4 strokes ahead of second place.
